Day porter services
A porter on site during opening hours, keeping the building presentable while it is in use. Restrooms checked and restocked through the day, entrances and lobbies kept clean, spills and incidents dealt with as they happen, meeting rooms reset, waste and recycling moved.
Coverage is set by the building. A single site might have one porter for a four-hour midday shift; a busier one might have full daytime cover, or two porters split across a large floorplate. We work the hours out from the traffic pattern rather than selling a standard shift.
Housekeeping
Continuous housekeeping for buildings where the standard has to hold all day — hospitality, healthcare, education, mixed-use developments and town centres, and residential buildings with shared areas.
Temporary staffing
Cleaning and housekeeping staff supplied on a temporary basis: covering absence, seasonal peaks, turn cleans between tenancies, event set-up and clear-down, and the period between one contractor leaving and another starting.
Placements can be for a single day or for several months. Staff are ours, employed and supervised by us, so the client is not taking on employment responsibility for cover.
How the people side is managed
Everyone placed on site is directly employed by Green Clean Commercial, background checked and trained before starting. Cover for sickness and holiday is our responsibility, not the client's — a scheduled porter shift is filled whether or not the usual person is available.
Where a site has a regular porter, we keep the same person on it. Continuity is most of the value in daytime work: someone who knows the building notices what is wrong before anyone reports it.
